Wijkcentrum Vleuten,
The Wijkcentrum in Vleuten recently underwent a thorough renovation. The building, which houses offices, the town hall, and the library, now has a fresh and contemporary look.
The renovation was commissioned by the Municipality of Utrecht, in close collaboration with UP Architecture and Van Schaik Elektrotechniek Harmelen. An important part of the design was the use of modern and sustainable lighting, realized with high-quality fixtures from Atomis.
In both the community center and the library, the Zumo 60 Vario White was chosen, which, with its versatility, provides a pleasant and functional lighting experience.
Above the service counters, the Lightscape Track was used, which not only enhances visibility and hospitality but also contributes to a professional look.
A combination of fixtures has been used for the offices: the Metronome-M, the Meson Pro-C, the Meson Pro, the Zumo 60 Vario White, and the Zender.
This mix offers the right balance between working light and comfort, and fits in perfectly with the various functions of the building.
Thanks to these carefully chosen lighting solutions, the Wijkcentrum Vleuten is not only a modern meeting place,
but also an energy-efficient and future-proof building that optimally facilitates residents, employees, and visitors.
