On behalf of the Kunstmuseum The Hague, we provided input and lighting advice for the exhibition
of Theo Jansen (1948) in the museum.

The works of art depicted are by the artist and are part of his solo exhibition ‘Strandbeesten een nieuwe generatie ‘
in the Kunstmuseum Den Haag.

These are impressive skeletons that move independently in the wind. The beach animals of artist
Theo Jansen (1948) regularly walk along the Hague coastline. His work travels all over the world.
The Animaris Omnia, which has been on display in the Garden Hall of the Kunstmuseum since 2018,
is part of the permanent exhibition.

The solo exhibition ‘Strandbeesten a new generation’ offers an in-depth look at the latest developments
of these fascinating creatures. Visitors can get up close to the complex mechanics and aesthetic design
and understand how they function.
