Linterna-B is a linear luminaire with a parabolic batwing louver for use in bandraster ceilings. This LED luminaire is developed as an alternative for T5 line fluorescent luminaires to apply in both refurbishment and new building projects. The batwing lighting distribution provides optimal uniformity with large luminaire distances up to 3m. To offer a lighting solution that fits seamlessly in a specific bandraster ceilings, the luminaires are custom made. Various dimensions and a wide range of colours are available. The luminaires are made of steel sheet metal construction finished with a powder coating, while the fixation of the units varies depending on the climate ceiling system. The luminaires are manufactured and assembled in the Netherlands. Optional air extraction slots are provided over the entire length of the luminaire providing an invisible air extraction. The luminaire comes in three length variations. Linterna-B is equipped with a low glare batwing louver (UGR<19). As a result, the luminaires are highly suitable for the use in offices, schools, and care centres.
