Waldorf Astoria Hotel Amsterdam
The Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam consists of a number of adjacent situated historic Amsterdam canal houses, dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. DVM BV, the owner of the buildings created there the most refined decoration of this particular location. Dining facilities include two star Michelin restaurant Librije’s Sister. In 2015 the hotel received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for her outstanding reviews.
GA Design International designed the interior. Dpa lighting consultants from Oxfordshire (UK) was responsible for the lighting design. Atomis provided Meson 100 LED spotlights, Meson 190 LED downlights and special LED lighting in the room doors. The Dutch engineer Hirdes Energy was responsible for the electrical and mechanical installaties.Atomis was asked to provide lighting and specials to design for the entrance, traffic rooms, party rooms, corridors and door lighting.
