Our fixtures are designed with care and produced sustainably, in collaboration with social enterprises and inclusive workplaces. In this way, we not only create energy-efficient lighting, but also fair opportunities for people with limited access to the labor market.

Naturalis – lighting with social impact
For Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Atomis provided the lighting for all laboratories and stairwells/platforms. In an environment where research, precision, and reliability are paramount, durable and robust lighting solutions suitable for long-term use were chosen.
Applied fixtures include Fusion-K climate ceiling fixtures, Corona 290 wall fixtures and Meson Pro-C surface-mounted fixtures. These fixtures combine high light quality with a maintenance-friendly, future-proof construction, suitable for the intensive and technical application within Naturalis.
As lighting designed and produced in the Netherlands, this project aligns with Atomis’ vision of sustainable and socially responsible entrepreneurship. We work together with social workplaces and inclusive partners in the development and assembly of our fixtures, so that this project not only contributes to a high-quality research environment, but also to social value.
This project was realized in collaboration with Huisman & Van Muijen and Kuijpers. A great example of how technology, sustainability, and social entrepreneurship come together in lighting that makes a difference.
