The Binnenhof Renovation Information Center shows how monumental heritage is preserved while simultaneously being prepared for a new phase.

An experience through time and transformation

The Binnenhof Renovation Information Center offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the complex renovation currently taking place in an accessible way. The Binnenhof has been the political heart of the Netherlands for centuries. Its history is visible in the buildings, the courtyards, and the stories that have unfolded here over time. Atomis is proud to have contributed to the Binnenhof Renovation Information Center together with 50LUX B.V. and lighting designer Jeffrey Steenbergen. Lighting is an essential component in an environment where information, atmosphere, and experience converge. The right light balance ensures that visitors are guided without even being aware of it.

Our lighting fixtures have been carefully chosen and placed to create exactly that balance. The light supports the architecture, enhances the exhibited information, and subtly directs the walking route. It is lighting that is present when needed but never distracts from the story. This approach fits perfectly with the atmosphere created by Pronkstudio: understated, thoughtful, and focused on content.
