HEAD OFFICE KRINKELS – BREDA

Atomis was commissioned to supply the lighting for a modern and future-proof working environment for the new head office of Krinkels in Breda. Krinkels is a leading full-service contractor in the fields of Green, Infra, Water and Sport and is known for sustainable quality management and the professional design of public spaces in the Netherlands. This vision of quality and sustainability is clearly reflected in this new head office.

The building was designed with great attention to comfort, functionality and a calm, clear appearance. Lighting plays an essential role in this. Not only as a technical facility, but as an integral part of the overall concept in which architecture, installations and daily use come together. Within this project, Atomis supplied Fusion-K linear LED luminaires, fully integrated into Integra’s climate ceilings.

The choice for integrated lighting in climate ceilings ensures a sleek and uncluttered ceiling appearance. Technology is subtly concealed, while light and climate work together optimally. This contributes to a comfortable working environment with an even light level and a pleasant experience for the users of the building. The linear Fusion-K luminaires create peace and continuity in the ceiling, which perfectly matches the architectural principles of the design.

In the office spaces, the lighting supports concentration and productivity, with a balanced light image without disturbing glare. At the same time, the design contributes to a modern and professional appearance that suits Krinkels as an organization. The integration with the climate ceilings also makes the whole efficient in maintenance and future-proof in use.

The project was realized in close collaboration with a strong team of partners. The architectural design was provided by Paul de Ruiter Architects, the installation advice by DWA, the installation technology by TES installation technology and the climate ceilings by Integra. Thanks to the good coordination between all disciplines, the lighting could be seamlessly integrated into both the design and the technology of the building.

The result is a head office that exudes peace, quality and sustainability. A working environment in which people can work pleasantly and in which lighting does not stand out by being present, but precisely by functioning perfectly. We look back with pride on this collaboration and on the end result that has been achieved in Breda.
