Herengracht 600, Amsterdam

On Herengracht, one of Amsterdam’s most characteristic locations, stands Herengracht 600. A building where history and contemporary use come together and where flexibility plays an important role in the daily use of the spaces.

In collaboration with Totaal Techniek Groep, we were asked to contribute ideas for a suitable lighting solution and provide the complete lighting plan for this project. The requirement was clear: a future-proof and flexible solution that adapts to changing layouts and users.

Therefore, the Fusion-T rail system was chosen for this project. This system offers maximum freedom in positioning and adjusting the fixtures. To further enhance this flexibility, the wireless Casambi lighting control system was also selected. This allows lighting to be easily adjusted per room or zone, without major modifications to the installation.

Within Herengracht 600, we have provided lighting for various spaces, including the entrance, offices, meeting rooms, stairwells, and sanitary areas. Each space has its own function and atmosphere, and the lighting has been carefully tailored accordingly. The result is a cohesive whole where comfort, appearance, and ease of use are central.

This project features the following fixtures, among others: Fusion-T (rail), Meson Refit Pro, Meson Pro-C, and Fusion-C. A combination that naturally brings together aesthetics, flexibility, and sustainability.
