The Holbeinhuis is located on the Coolsingel, in the heart of Rotterdam. An iconic office building from 1954 that immediately showcases what the city stands for: character, grit, and innovation. Historical, almost classical lines are effortlessly combined here with robust Rotterdam architecture and a contemporary, urban interior.

The building is owned by Athora Netherlands and has been renovated in close collaboration with CBRE Netherland, Kraaijvanger Architects, J.P. van Eesteren and Groen & Aldenkamp Installation Technology. A team in which architecture, technology and execution are perfectly coordinated.

Together with Groen & Aldenkamp Installation Technology, we were able to design and supply unique fixtures for this project, specially developed for this type of climate ceiling. No standard solution, but customization that is fully integrated into the design of the building. Exactly as we like to see it: lighting that is not only functional, but also becomes part of the whole. #CustomizeYourLuminaire

The design explicitly took into account the wishes of the client. The goal was clear: to create a uniform appearance and a consistent look and feel that brings peace and at the same time radiates quality and sustainability. A working environment where future users feel comfortable and where they can enjoy it for years to come.
