Verkade Climate Installations

Verkade Climate Installations is a company with a clear and specialized mission: to realize an ideal indoor climate. They do this daily for clients in horticulture, utility construction, industry, and private homes. Climate control requires precision, reliability, and comfort. These same principles guided the design and technical finishing of their own premises.

For this project, an integrated approach was chosen, where architecture, installation technology, and lighting are closely coordinated. The design was provided by HET Architecten, with a clear focus on functionality, technology, and appearance. The building exudes craftsmanship and demonstrates what Verkade stands for: control over comfort and a well-thought-out technical foundation.

The climate ceiling was supplied by Interalu Nederland. This type of ceiling forms the ideal basis for an integrated solution where cooling, heating, and lighting come together. Combining functions creates a calm ceiling appearance and efficient use of technology, without compromising comfort or aesthetics. Overdevest Adviseurs was involved as a consultant, monitoring the technical quality and performance of the overall concept.

The electrical installation was carried out by Groen en Aldenkamp, who ensured a careful and reliable realization of the electrotechnical facilities. In this project, good cooperation between all parties was essential, precisely because technology is so visible and decisive for the end result.

For lighting, solutions from Atomis were chosen. Fusion SAPP luminaires were used in the climate ceiling, seamlessly integrating into the ceiling and providing uniform, comfortable light distribution. Additionally, Meson 180 SAPP luminaires were deployed in a special blue finish. This color choice is not only functional but also a clear visual reference to the identity and technical signature of Verkade Climate.

The result is a building where climate and light reinforce each other. The lighting supports working comfort, perfectly aligns with the technical environment, and contributes to a professional, recognizable appearance. A project that shows how integral thinking leads to a clear, functional, and future-proof whole.
