We were proud to provide the lighting for the Teylers Museum, including the museum shop and the special Pieter Teyler House. A project where history, aesthetics, and modern technology carefully converge.

For this unique environment, Zumo fixtures with Casambi control were chosen. These fixtures combine a refined and understated design with advanced lighting technology. Exactly what is needed in a monumental setting where the light must enhance the space and objects without drawing attention to itself.

Lighting with respect for heritage

The Zumo fixtures offer high light quality and great flexibility in control. Thanks to Casambi, the light can be precisely adjusted for different functions and moments, from accent lighting in the museum shop to atmospheric and carefully dosed light in the historic residence.

At the same time, the chosen solutions contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient lighting, meeting contemporary demands without compromising the appearance and value of the heritage.

Result

The result is a subtle, high-quality lighting experience that supports and enhances the collection and architecture. A balance between history and innovation, where light plays a connecting role.
