Anyone curious about the present, past, and future of the Binnenhof can visit Plaats 22 in The Hague. Just a stone’s throw from the Hofvijver, the Information Center tells the story behind one of the most iconic places in the Netherlands. Not from a distance, but right in the middle of the experience.

The Information Center shows what the Binnenhof was, what it is now, and how it will be put back into use. Architecture, history, renovation, and future prospects come together here in a clear and accessible setup. A place where information is not dry explanation, but is truly experienced.

Atomis is proud to have contributed to this special project in collaboration with 50LUX B.V.. With our lighting fixtures, we have carefully sought the right balance between functionality and atmosphere. Light that supports, directs, and enhances the story, without claiming the leading role itself.

Thanks to the strong design by Pronkstudio and the craftsmanship of Heijmerink Wagemakers, the whole forms a calm, coherent environment in which visitors are naturally taken through the story of the Binnenhof and the large-scale renovation.
