Zuilen Community Center, Utrecht

We are proud to have provided the lighting for the Zuilen Community Center.

Zuilen Community Center in Municipality of Utrecht has recently undergone a complete renovation, with the aim of creating a modern, open and inviting environment for visitors and staff.

The Zumo 60 Vario rail fixture is used above the counters, which optimally illuminates them, and in the large rooms, the Fusion-M 600 x 600 square fixtures provide even and comfortable basic lighting.

The client and the architect wanted to create a community center for Zuilen that, in terms of architecture, is a contemporary, fresh reflection of the surrounding neighborhood from the 1910s to 1935. A home for the neighborhood that invites meeting, both inside and outside the building. The architect focused on a sustainable and flexible community center. The building as a center/meeting place (cornerstone of society) for the neighborhood is easily usable and adaptable for at least the next 40 years.
