The Moco Museum Amsterdam is an independent museum with a distinctive collection of modern, contemporary and street art. Works by artists such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy and Andy Warhol make the museum a dynamic place where art, culture and social themes come together.

For this project, we were commissioned to supply our Zumo 60 fixtures in collaboration with 50LUX Lighting Design & Consultancy. These spotlights are equipped with an integrated zoom lens, allowing the beam width to be easily adjusted. This makes the fixtures highly versatile and ideal for exhibitions with diverse art forms and scales.

Light for expressive art

In an environment where color, contrast and expression are central, precise lighting is essential. With the Zumo 60, the right focus can be achieved for each artwork, ensuring that details, textures and compositions are optimally showcased without overwhelming the space.

Result

The result is a powerful yet controlled lighting layer that enhances the art and contributes to the intense experience for which the Moco Museum is known. A flexible and future-proof solution that adapts to changing exhibitions.
