Traditionally, lighting was designed along a linear model: produce, install, use and eventually replace. That model no longer fits today's challenges. Raw materials are becoming scarcer and sustainability requirements stricter. That is why Atomis deliberately chooses a circular approach.

Modular and demountable

Our luminaires are modular and fully demountable. LED modules, drivers and optical elements can be replaced, repaired or upgraded individually. Instead of writing off a complete luminaire, the base is retained and you renew only what is needed. That extends service life and reduces waste.

Considered material choices

Circularity starts with the material. We work with high-quality, recyclable materials. Aluminium plays a leading role: light, strong and infinitely recyclable without loss of quality. Parts are constructed so they are easy to separate, without unnecessary bonding - making recycling more efficient.

Efficient in use

A circular luminaire is also economical. Through high-quality LED technology, efficient drivers and precise optics we achieve a high light output per watt. That means lower energy costs and a lower CO2 footprint during the use phase, which often determines the largest share of environmental impact.

Future-proof

Spaces change faster than ever. Thanks to the modular build we adapt light characteristics without replacing the entire luminaire: a different optic for a different beam, an LED upgrade or an adjusted light colour. This keeps lighting moving with the times and supports our clients' sustainability goals across the full life cycle.
