How we work, step by step

    Introduction & advisory meeting

    Together we look at what is really needed

    You speak with one of our lighting experts. They tell you not only about lighting itself, but also about the possibilities within our range, from downlights to retrofit and refurbishment solutions. Together we explore what your space really needs and which direction fits best — on site or online.

  2. 02Survey

    Technical survey & alignment

    Our specialists assess the situation on site

    A specialist visits for a thorough technical survey. We map the space, the architecture and the lighting requirements, so the design fits your building and use seamlessly. We also align the steps of the lighting plan and discuss your wishes regarding controls, light colours and the specific requirements of the project.

  3. 03Design

    Lighting design & custom alignment

    You receive a proposal that suits your situation

    We translate your wishes into a concrete lighting design with custom luminaires, a clear explanation and transparent costs, tailored to your building, your objectives and the desired light quality. Accompanying lighting calculations per room support the quotation.

  4. 04Quotation

    Quotation & presentation

    No 'PDF over the fence' mentality

    We issue the quotation and, if desired and time permits, explain the design in person. We do so supported by an underlying lighting study of the relevant rooms. With lighting calculations and visualisations per room, you see in advance exactly what the light does, so you decide with a complete picture.

  5. 05On order

    Definitive lighting studies & certification

    Your project fully in line with the requirements

    We prepare definitive lighting studies so the project fully meets the set project requirements. Where applicable, we take BREEAM and WELL certification into account, so your space also demonstrably meets the standard in terms of sustainability and wellbeing.

  6. 06Planning

    Planning & agreements aligned in advance

    Short lines and a dedicated project team

    As soon as you approve, we jointly set the planning, communication and delivery. At Atomis you work with a small, dedicated project team, so the lines stay short and you always know who to turn to. You receive the order confirmation with the expected delivery dates, and for custom luminaires an approval document that you check and approve before production. That way everything is fixed before the first luminaire goes into production.

  7. 07Production

    Local production and (SROI) assembly

    Made in the Netherlands with craftsmanship and social value

    After your approval, your (custom) luminaires go into production. We produce and assemble them at our facility in the Netherlands, with craftsmanship and attention to detail: circular, sustainable and with the light quality that suits your project. During assembly we invest in social return (SROI), so your project also adds social value.

  8. 08Delivery

    Delivery on site with our own transport

    Certainty about coordination and delivery time

    We deliver on site with our own transport in the Netherlands and Belgium, using our own box truck. This guarantees coordination with the project and a reliable delivery time. On delivery, we check together with you whether the shipment is as desired.

  9. 09Optional
    Optional step

    Installation of the (custom) luminaires on site

    Expert installation, without disrupting your organisation

    Would you like to hand over the installation? On request, Atomis handles the placement of the delivered luminaires on site: expertly, neatly finished and without unnecessary disruption to your organisation. This way your lighting design comes into its own.

    We offer this installation on request and carry it out ourselves. Please note: this concerns only the installation of the luminaires, not electrical installation work.

  10. 10Aftercare

    Service & aftercare

    We stay by your side, also after completion

    Our involvement does not stop at delivery. For questions, maintenance or optimisation, you can always turn to us. And if your space or use changes in the future? Then we think along with you again, so your lighting continues to fit perfectly. Light, perfected.
