World Whisky Index
World Whisky Index in Waddinxveen is the leading international marketplace for rare whisky — a place where exceptional collections are stored, traded and celebrated. For the offices and presentation spaces, we helped think through a lighting plan that is both representative and functional: warm and atmospheric where it can be, bright and comfortable where it needs to be.

A space built around precious whisky calls for light that makes both the products and the people shine. Together with the client and the lighting consultant, we looked at atmosphere, function and experience — from the workstations to the rooms where collections are displayed.
Involved from start to finish
Early in the process we joined in to help shape the lighting concept. By combining functionality and atmosphere from the design stage onwards, we arrived at a plan in which general light, accent lighting and clean architectural lines come together seamlessly.
The luminaires used
For the general light and the clean lines in the ceiling we chose the Fusion-M 600x600 square. The Meson Pro 190 delivers powerful, comfortable downlight at the workstations, while the Meson round 100 FT, with its recessed Fresnel optic, provides the accents — ideal for subtly highlighting products and details without glare.
With thanks to Clemens Lichtadvies
This project was realised in pleasant collaboration with Clemens Lichtadvies, who created the lighting design. Thanks to this collaboration, the end result perfectly matches the identity and function of World Whisky Index. We look back with pride on a project in which we were able to think along from start to finish.
