On the Blaak in the heart of Rotterdam, opposite Blaak station, an office building was given a contemporary refit. Atomis supplied the Sirio-SAPP 1200: a sleek linear luminaire that blends seamlessly into the climate ceiling and provides comfortable, even working light.
A modern office calls for light that does not draw attention but does its job: even, comfortable and fully integrated into the architecture. For Blaak 16 that meant a luminaire that forms a single whole with the ceiling, with no distracting light sources in view.
Light that merges into the ceiling
The Sirio-SAPP 1200 is designed to fit perfectly into the SAPP climate ceiling. Lighting and ceiling merge into one clean, calm line — ideal for a representative working environment where form and function go hand in hand. The result is an even, low-glare light image at the workstations.
Collaboration makes the difference
This project was made possible by a great collaboration. The realisation was in the hands of Stone Projects, the climate ceiling with the SAPP system was provided by Interalu and the interior design came from Studio Rublek. By joining forces early on, technology, light and interior could be perfectly attuned to one another.
